Introduction

JOHNNY OLD
I was only eleven years old. And was living my inner winter. One that freezes the soul and darkens the face. Up to then, I was feeling trapped in a gloomy cave. But I decided to change everything. I don't know why, but I was sure I could do it.

Primavera (Spring)

"Spring is the synthesis of the movie. David composed it specially for the Album. If someone asks you how is the movie, you show him 'Spring' and it is all there. It expresses all the Johnny's feelings, the smallest desires of a child. Aristides, that played Johnny, sings a piece in the song."

"I listened Maëry for the first time in 2001, and she impressed me since that. She is one of that few singers that know exactly what they make with their voice. More than that, she transmits emotion in the right moments of the song. When we invited her to the Album, we didn't know how she will answer to that, but hopefully she liked it and sent her CD 'Live Underwater'. Two Silhouettes was chosen right away. It is like Johnny was walking in the seashore with the Mother, in the early morning, slow motion. Well, just Maëry can say that, or sing."

"This song is special for me. It sounds like one of that dreams in heaven. We already used some parts of it in our movie 'The Answer', in the scenes of decision and travel of king Shankara, but I always wanted more and this was the time. Stephen sings for the Mother Nature, he is playing with masters of the music (Guruji, Angela, Pierluca...). Actually, I would like to have asked also for 'Comforter' to Stephen, but it's okay. Thouching Your Heart is a living dream for me and Johnny too."

"As Pavan, Glenn has the music in his blood. He is the type of person that sings because loves it, this is joy. And he transmits it singing, I already can see him singing with a big smile in the face. You feel good listening to him. When we invited Glenn, he sent us two Cds. How many singers would have done that? Was difficult to choose which song was going to the Album, each one had a different choice. But 'Deck' has the joy and the right lyrics to what we needed, and also puts everybody to dancer."

"This song always impressed me. I had already used it in a video documentary about a Sahaja Seminar in Brazil, but I dreamed to include it in the CD. Just listen to the introduction of it and you will understand why. I also thought in include a scene of Johnny running through a yard with a lot of kids, getting in a music class just to include it in the movie. Daniel Wagner is a tremendous artist, I don't know if it is because of the name, but he composed an incredible song. Close your eyes and you will see Johnny lying down in a green grass singing 'She Does it All' to the big blue sky, as the ones we have in spring mornings."
